Haley & Micah

I met Haley while studying abroad in South Africa.  We have remained good friends ever since, and she has been one of the biggest supporters of my photography.  I enjoyed taking her and her brother's senior portraits, and now I am thrilled to be taking her engagement and wedding photos!  Haley and Micah absolutely love Christmas, so we played around with some Christmas lights (as seen above).  The rest of the shoot was on UGA's North Campus since both Haley and Micah graduated from the University of Georgia and have many memories there together.  They took me to a bench that they often sat on in the Founders Garden, and then we rang the Chapel Bell where Micah proposed.  Their wedding is going to be at the Chapel next summer, and it's going to be amazing!!  I hope you enjoy the photos.

Chelsea & James

Chelsea & James are my second bride and groom to have met in Bolton Dining Hall at UGA!  They traveled back to Athens for their engagement session, and we enjoyed the gorgeous fall colors as we explored North Campus and Lake Herrick.  For their first date, James created a "drive-in movie" on top of a parking deck by Lake Herrick, complete with a table cloth and projector!  You can see the parking deck in the background of one of the photos below. :) Listening to these two share their stories and dating history was heart-melting, and I can't wait to photograph these romantics again next March during their wedding!

Sarah & Will

I absolutely loved meeting Sarah and Will and taking their engagement photos!  We had a blast traveling around and trying new ideas.  They first took me to the spot where Will proposed… a cute little trail and creek area in the Botanical Gardens.  Then we headed to some fields and ultimately downtown Athens for the rest of the shoot.  Sarah is an artist and brought the cutest props with her (including pumpkins that she painted!!).  I am just a little jealous of her long perfectly-flowing hair.  :)  The photos I captured only scratch the surface of the love I saw between these two.  Sarah and Will, thank you again for trusting me to capture this exciting milestone!
