Kim and Stephan's engagement session was definitely new territory for me. I've only ever photographed a horse once and it only lasted about 3 minutes. To be honest, I'm not sure I even know how to properly pet a horse… I usually just admire them from a distance. So needless to say, trying to make my ideas come to life with Kim's horse proved to be a little more difficult than I expected. Especially since her horse didn't seem to like me using my reflector. :) However, I love the photos we captured, and I enjoyed exploring Dancing Tree Farms! I couldn't have asked for prettier weather or a sweeter couple. I can't wait to photograph these two as they tie the knot in March!
